Child Safety Standards

Last updated: February 15, 2026

1. Purpose and Commitment

LangVibe is a language exchange platform operated by La Onda Inc. that connects users for language practice through video calls, scheduled sessions, and community features. We are firmly committed to the safety of all users, particularly minors, and maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This policy outlines the measures we take to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform. It applies to all LangVibe services, including 1:1 video calls, community posts, user profiles, and all forms of user-generated content.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on LangVibe and will result in immediate account suspension and reporting to authorities: - Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, or text descriptions - Sharing, distributing, or soliciting sexual or exploitative content involving minors - Grooming behavior — building trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse - Requesting personal contact information from minors for exploitative purposes - Using video calls, community posts, profile photos, or ephemeral chat to share or solicit exploitative content involving minors - Using the platform's matching or scheduling features to arrange meetings with minors for exploitative purposes - Any attempt to circumvent our safety measures to facilitate exploitation of minors

3. Age Requirements and Verification

LangVibe requires all users to be at least 13 years of age, as stated in our Terms of Service. We implement the following measures to enforce this requirement: - Users must authenticate through Google Sign-In, which has its own age requirements and verification processes - Users who are found to be under 13 will have their accounts immediately removed - We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as detailed in our Privacy Policy - We encourage users and parents to report any suspected underage accounts While we rely on Google's authentication system and user self-reporting for age verification, we continuously evaluate additional age verification methods to strengthen our protections.

4. Prevention Measures

LangVibe employs multiple layers of prevention to protect users from CSAE: - Video calls are peer-to-peer (P2P) connections — we do not record or store audio/video content, minimizing the risk of stored exploitative material on our servers - Ephemeral chat messages during video calls are transmitted directly between users via WebRTC DataChannel and are never stored on our servers - Community posts and images undergo moderation review through our admin dashboard - User profiles are subject to content review by our moderation team - Our matching system connects users based on language preferences, not personal characteristics - User blocking is available to immediately prevent unwanted contact from any user - Our trust score system factors in report history to identify and flag potentially dangerous accounts

5. Reporting Mechanisms

LangVibe provides multiple accessible ways to report concerns about CSAE or any harmful behavior: - In-call report button: During any video call, users can tap the flag icon to immediately report the other user. A screenshot of the call is automatically captured and attached as evidence. - Post and comment reporting: Users can report community posts or comments by selecting a reason (Inappropriate Content, Spam, Harassment, or Other) with optional additional details. - User profile reporting: Any user profile can be reported through the same reporting system. - Email reporting: Users can contact us directly at support@laonda.io for CSAE-related concerns. All reports are logged in our system with status tracking (pending, reviewed, resolved) and are reviewed by our moderation team. We treat all CSAE-related reports with the highest priority.

6. Content Moderation and Enforcement

LangVibe maintains an active content moderation system through our admin dashboard: - All user reports are reviewed by our moderation team with full context including reported content, screenshots, and user history - Posts containing violations can be removed by administrators - Comments containing violations can be individually deleted by administrators - Users who accumulate 5 or more reports are automatically suspended by our system - Administrators can manually suspend or ban accounts at any time upon review - Suspended users lose access to all platform features including video calls, community posting, and matching For confirmed CSAE violations, we take immediate action: - Immediate account suspension upon identification of CSAE content or behavior - Preservation of relevant evidence for law enforcement purposes - Permanent account ban with no possibility of reinstatement

7. Cooperation with Authorities

La Onda Inc. is committed to full cooperation with law enforcement and relevant authorities regarding CSAE: - We will report confirmed CSAE material and suspected exploitation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant authorities as required by applicable law - We will preserve and provide relevant account data, report records, and evidence to law enforcement upon valid legal requests - We cooperate with international law enforcement agencies given the global nature of our language exchange platform - We comply with all applicable mandatory reporting laws in the Republic of Korea and other jurisdictions where we operate - We maintain records of reports and moderation actions to support any ongoing investigations Users who become aware of any child exploitation should also report directly to local law enforcement and the NCMEC CyberTipline (www.cybertipline.org) or equivalent authority in their jurisdiction.
